A circular, embroidered rank insignia from the South West African Territorial Force (SWATF) used during the South African Border War. The design features the white laurel wreath encircling the SWA triangular triskelion emblem (black outline with white/grey fill) on an olive green background, indicating the rank of Staff Sergeant in SWA service. These cloth patches were worn on combat uniforms and field jackets. This example is in very good condition with minimal fading, retaining full thread integrity and colour vibrancy.
