Our Story: From Father to Son, a Shared Passion for History

The foundation of Let’s Talk Militaria began with Craig, a devoted militaria enthusiast whose love for military history was more than just a hobby—it was a lifelong pursuit. From an early age, Craig was captivated by the stories behind military artefacts, meticulously collecting, researching, and preserving historical pieces with an unwavering dedication to authenticity.

This passion was contagious, and it didn’t take long before his son, Devin, found himself equally fascinated by the military world. Inspired by the items in his father’s collection and the history they represented, Devin didn’t just admire militaria—he chose to live it. His deep respect for the sacrifices made by soldiers led him to join the army, becoming a paratrooper and Special Forces communicator, following a path of service, discipline, and commitment.

Devin’s military career only strengthened his passion for the artefacts and stories he grew up with. After years of service, he decided to take on a new mission: preserving military history and continuing the family legacy by expanding Let’s Talk Militaria into the UK. Today, Devin leads the UK division of the business, carrying forward the same principles his father instilled—authenticity, integrity, and respect for history.

Together, Craig and Devin represent two sides of the same passion—one as a dedicated historian and collector, the other as a veteran with firsthand military experience. Their combined knowledge and expertise ensure that every item we sell is treated with the respect and historical accuracy it deserves.
