A silver-finish medal issued by the former Republic of Bophuthatswana to members of the Bophuthatswana Defence Force (BDF) in recognition of long and loyal service. The obverse displays the Bophuthatswana coat of arms framed within a scalloped edge, while the reverse carries the eight-pointed star motif also featuring the national emblem. The ribbon consists of orange, blue, and white vertical stripes—typical of Bophuthatswana service decorations.A scarce piece due to the short lifespan of the state (1977–1994) and limited production of medals before reintegration into South Africa.
