A roll-up canvas field cleaning kit issued to SADF troops for the 5.56mm R4 and R5 assault rifles, clones of the Israeli Galil ARM. This example includes multiple compartments with original tools: cleaning rods, brushes, oil bottle, pull-through cord, and other maintenance tools. The wrap design with securing ties and Velcro patches made it field-practical, durable, and modular for rapid deployment. It was commonly issued to infantry units, including 32 Battalion, the Parabats, and mechanised forces during the South African Border War.
