An original South African Defence Force Special Forces (“Recce”) R4 rifle carry bag, designed for rapid deployment and discreet transport of the R4 5.56mm assault rifle. Manufactured from durable olive-green heavy-duty nylon with black webbing reinforcement, adjustable securing straps, and a padded lining to protect the weapon during insertion operations. This design allowed operators to carry the weapon broken down or fully assembled while moving covertly, with quick-release buckles enabling rapid access. The style and material are consistent with SADF special operations kit from the late Border War period, and such items are scarce due to limited issue within Reconnaissance Commando units.
