The cap badge features the iconic Oryx (Gemsbok) head with long vertical horns, above the motto scroll reading "PERGAMUS" (Latin: "We Advance"). The accompanying collar badges depict crossed axes over a flaming grenade — insignia associated with pioneer units, fire support personnel, or military engineers tasked with field fortification, demolition, and base security roles. These badges were worn on service and dress uniforms by SWATF troops in combat support roles, particularly within tactical and mobile units operating in rough terrain.
