An original South African Soldier 2000 waterproof rain jacket, produced in the distinctive SANDF Soldier 2000 camouflage pattern. Designed for field use in wet conditions, the jacket is manufactured from lightweight water-resistant fabric with an inner waterproof lining, adjustable hood, and drawstring fasteners for a secure fit. This example is a large size (4XL), making it particularly rare, as most surplus examples were issued in smaller conscript sizes. The jacket represents the transitional SANDF field gear of the 1990s and 2000s, designed to complement the standard Soldier 2000 combat uniform and patrol vest.
