Grey scout shoulder insignia, issued to a major. A scarce original pair of Grey's Scouts shoulder slip-on insignia, manufactured in heavy khaki twill and machine-embroidered with the regiment’s black lion-and-wreath emblem above the title "GREY'S SCOUTS". These were worn by officers of the elite mounted infantry regiment, noted for their exceptional tracking and reconnaissance capabilities during the Rhodesian Bush War.
Likely an officer’s/major’s set due to higher-quality embroidery and construction. Both slip-ons show light operational wear consistent with field use.
