South African Union Defence Force leather bandolier with 10 individual 5-round pouches (50-round capacity) for 7x57mm and 6.5x58mm Mauser cartridges. Double-pin brass buckle. U-with-arrow Union Defence Force marking present. Leather remains soft and supple with excellent structural integrity for age. Superior official manufacture compared to early Boer saddle-maker examples. Very well-preserved and highly collectable UDF example.
