Battle / War: None; Boer War; Second Boer War
Product Condition: Good
Product Dimensions (cm): 115x11x8

Scarce colonial-era leather ammunition bandolier/cross-belt of robust local-contract/private-purchase construction, featuring a cast/brass buckle and multiple large stud-fastened flap pouches (3 visible) with heavy stitched reinforcement throughout. Pattern and build are consistent with South African/Cape Colony field equipment of the late Victorian period, commonly associated with Martini-Henry era service. Cape garrison marked. Faint impressed marking present near the buckle area . Very good overall condition with strong stitching and supple leather; minor rodent/gnawing to a fastening tab, otherwise clean and highly displayable. A genuinely uncommon piece of colonial leather equipment.
