Original South West Africa Territorial Force (SWATF) insignia grouping comprising a selection of embroidered arm brassards displaying rank bars from Lance Corporal through to Major, together with officer's collar tabs, qualification/proficiency insignia and embroidered formation badges. Manufactured in olive-drab cloth with white machine embroidery, these insignia were worn by members of the South West Africa Territorial Force during the South African administration of South West Africa (now Namibia). Such insignia were used on combat dress and service uniforms to denote rank, appointments and unit affiliation. The set represents an excellent reference or display grouping for collectors of SWATF, SADF and Border War militaria.
