Canadian DPM patt/Tanzanian copied by SADF recce special forces, used for insurgency operations in Angola (Special Forces) DPM design. Manufactured in durable cotton with four front cargo pockets, button front closure and reinforced construction, these jackets were issued to elements of the Tanzania People's Defence Force (TPDF). The colour palette and print differ slightly and have become collectable in their own right. Examples are increasingly sought after by collectors of African military camouflage due to their limited availability and their visual association with Southern African special forces uniforms.
