Original German K98 bayonet leather frog manufactured in 1941 for the S84/98 Pattern III bayonet issued with the Karabiner 98k rifle. Constructed from black leather with an integral belt loop, reinforced riveted construction, and stitched scabbard pocket, the frog retains its original wartime configuration. The reverse bears a circular maker's stamp with a 1941 production date, consistent with Wehrmacht leather equipment produced during the height of the Second World War. Although the maker's mark is partially obscured by wear, the construction and stamping are characteristic of wartime German manufacture.
